Info for Tour Operators
Brent Rourke’s “The Barn in Bloomfield”... We’re part of the Atlantic ECONOMUSEE Network. And we have a unique experience to offer your passengers.
Wide open spaces. FREE and easy parking. And gorgeous wooden hand-crafted items that you won’t find in most gift shops. Our historic Barn/Museum/Factory/Gift Store is an opportunity for you to enjoy the countryside, browse our showroom and interact with the craftsmen in the workshop.
“The Barn in Bloomfield", located in the picturesque Kennebecasis River Valley, is easily assessable along Highway 121 between Saint John and Sussex or Moncton.
Getting Here
Travel along scenic Hwy 1, catching pastoral views of Darlings Lake and rolling
hills. And then advancing through the Town of Hampton. Once in Hampton, you
take a meandering country road - Centennial Drive - out through Passekeag. You’ll
see historic houses. And a gently flowing river on your left. Turn left towards
Bloomfield Station. As you travel through Bloomfield Station you can lift your
feet as you cross the rail tracks pass the Old General Store, beep your horn
as you pass through one of New Brunswick’s famous covered bridges, and
hold your breath as you pass burial grounds. (I am sure with research there
are other points of interest.)
Turn right onto Highway 121 and we’re just a few hundred feet up, on your left.
